For Carttera’s Portland Commons development – a 15 storey, 560,000 sq.ft commercial building slated to open in fall 2023 – #normandthegang was engaged to create an interactive leasing tool that would strengthen JLL’s digital marketing efforts, a vital solution needed during a time when scheduling in-person meetings have been a challenge.
Our objective was to develop an informative and engaging experience that established Portland Commons as a leading destination for a high performance and healthy workplace. Designed to provide best-in-class standards, Carttera, along with Sweeny & Co. , designed the building with a focus on employee wellness, technology, and sustainability.
Leveraging #normandthegang’s Interactive Explorer technology, our team created a custom microsite that allowed prospective tenants to interface with a 3D model that highlighted Portland Commons’ best-in-class health and wellness features like flexible floorplates, various outdoor spaces, operable windows and sustainability features. Future tenants are also able to discover and download all available floorplans at their leisure.

Powered by a custom Content Management System, the leasing team is empowered to create bespoke versions of the site, allowing for a highly customized experience for prospective tenants. Through the CMS system, the leasing team can show/hide specific floorplans, edit text blocks, and even upload a custom logo to highlight Branding Opportunities, which dynamically updates the building model in real-time.
